2015:

MAPLE LAKE WMA

2015 Clays for a Cause raised $2,743.97 towards a 160-acre land addition to the Maple Lake Wildlife Management Area.  This land parcel is directly adjacent to the 850-acre Robert E. Ney County Park Reserve and the current 250-acre Maple Lake WMA.  This parcel addition allowed for over 100 acres of cropland to be converted to native grassland abutting a high resource value wetland, creating habitat and improving water quality in the entire local watershed.  Conveniently located, it is just 3 miles north of downtown Maple Lake, in a rural area right on the western edge of the metro in Wright County.
